A piggery and livestock business in Irete, Owerri, Imo State — raising healthy pigs and supporting farmers who want to do the same.
Our farm story
Somkene Livestock Enterprises was built on a simple belief: good pigs come from good practice. From the pens to the feed trough, everything on the farm is organised around the health of the animals, because healthy livestock is what makes pig farming profitable for the buyer as well as the farmer.
We supply piglets, grower pigs, mature pigs and breeding stock to individuals, farmers, traders and businesses across Imo State. Alongside livestock sales we offer pig feed, consultation and practical training, so that customers are not left guessing after the sale.
Our approach is hands-on and honest. If a particular class of stock is not available, we say so. If a buyer needs guidance on housing or feeding, we give it. That is how we intend to grow — one satisfied farmer at a time.
